Spend your Saturday with visiting artist Maria Borghoff! Learn to explore your authentic voice and creative process through gentle movement, meditation, and mixed-media weaving. We will explore our conscious desires and habitual behaviors by weaving a tapestry that harnesses the power of intention. Participants will use paper, fabric, journal entries, and found materials to create individual weavings. Love this class? Take the Sunday workshop as well and dive into ceramics with Maria. Maria Borghoff, BFA, resides in Atlanta, GA and is a community artist, creative wellness coach, and curator at GROOVE. Her interdisciplinary artwork is inspired by somatic psychology, bioenergetics, Sri Vidya Tantra, Hatha Yoga, and Qi Gong. Maria has taught in studios, museums, universities, and community centers, and she has published writing and exhibited artwork nationally.
