Teens have fun working within the theme of wildlife in this class while experimenting and perfecting their skills in clay handbuilding and sculpting. After demonstrations and examples, teens will come up with creative ideas in turning simple vessels into wild creatures. This course will give students an understanding of the ceramic process, proper forming methods, drying, and glazing/decorating techniques that are essential to a basic knowledge of ceramics. All skill levels welcome. Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready for pick up 10-12 days after class has ended.
