Winter Animal Habitats in Clay

Wednesday, December 28

3:30 - 5:00 p.m.

With Cameron Chaffee

$30 child/adult pair. ($15 for each extra student). Materials included.

Some animals love the cold and snow!  Penguins swim in icy water, polar bears climb on glaciers and icebergs, and snow foxes burrow their noses in snow to find food. Families have fun imagining their favorite winter animals, where they live, and creating animals sculptures and animal habitats out of clay using coil, slab, slipping, and scoring techniques!  This class will be a blast! Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready to pick up 10-12 days after the class session is finished.
