Visual Journaling Workshop for Kids

Life for a child can be busy and hectic! Our Visual Journaling Workshop teaches kids skills that they can use in their everyday life. Students learn how to slow things down and process experiences through a series of fun and educational observation exercises. Each child will learn to sew their own watercolor paper journal, and fill it with lessons in realistic drawing, collage, watercolor and other fun projects that invite the student to observe things differently. The goal of the workshop is to sharpen their awareness of everyday objects and activities. This workshop will encourage students to notice and appreciate their extraordinary lives, and will teach tools for documenting it every day.
