$100 + $25 materials fee
Learn how to create sculptural vessels using the coiling technique. Students will use simple materials such as rope and yarn to create a beautiful, three dimensional container. First, students will learn the history of the coiling technique and how it has been used around the world for centuries to make utilitarian and decorative objects. Then students will be taught the basics of coiling and how to build a simple plant holder. Each student will leave with a unique work of art and a small plant to keep inside! Plants included.
