Printmaking for Teens

$180 + $10 materials fee
Students will learn the art of relief printmaking. In this class, students will learn about the basics of designing, carving into foam blocks, and printing a relief piece. Students will look at Picasso, Hans Holbein, Hokusai, Tom Huck and others as they begin to plan their own print. By the end of the class students will have a good understanding of how printmaking works as well as a multi-copy edition of their work.
