Mugs for the Family

$50 per child/adult pair. Materials included.
Students will have the opportunity to hand build with clay, as well as use the pottery wheel in this class! You will first each make a cup on the pottery wheel for each member of your family. Then, learn how to add handles to make the mug complete! Once the pieces are built, students will have the opportunity to carve in family initials or names, and experiment with vibrant glazes to decorate the finished pieces. Get creative with family members and join Kristen in creating timeless clay mugs that you will cherish with your family for years to come! Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready to pick up 10 days after the class. Please note that children under 7 cannot use a wheel independently as they are not strong enough and must share a wheel with an adult!
