Come paint, draw, and collage with Ty Cummings! Learn applications of a wide variety of art materials to create contemporary mixed media artwork. Using spray paint, acrylic paint, marker, oil paint, and paper, we will explore how to combine these materials to create a cohesive art piece. These exercises will help students develop vision in color, value, perspective, and form. Different genres and styles will be examined to create work. We will look at post-modern styles, landscape abstraction, self-portraiture, still-life sets, and the process of creating imagery from the unconscious. All levels of experience are welcome and encouraged.
