Mastering Watercolor

Watercolor techniques range from traditional layers built light to dark to wet-in-wet to wet-on-dry. Kimberly paints directly, frequently utilizing the full range of techniques, valuing the distinctive mark of the artist. All watercolor techniques - even those appearing spontaneous – require planning of composition, ordering of your washes and marks, saving whites, and "brush mileage". This 6 week course allows time for these skills to become ingrained in you. Whatever we paint, light will always be our most important subject.
