Clay is a wonderful and tactile medium that many kids take to naturally! It’s three dimensional nature encourages kids to think about structure, shapes, and forms. Students can experiment with a variety of building techniques while they learn to work through their creations, and adapt to changes along the way. Kids will make mini sculptures, bowls, vessels, and one large scale project. Students will make both hand built forms and wheel thrown forms.
