Intro to Glass Fusion

Learn the basics of glass fusion while creating one of a kind glass projects in class. We will explore the use of tools used to shape and form glass. Properties and types of glass will be discussed, as well basic design concepts, resulting in the completion of several finished projects. Class will cover the use of reactive glasses, the use of frit, rod, and dichroic to create patterns in glass and the use of inclusions in glass such as silver foil. Cold working techniques will be demonstrated to put a finishing touch on the fused glass piece. This is a beginning level class.
