Intro to Drawing for Teens

Fridays, February 26; March 4, 11, 18, 25; April 1

3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

$200 + $10 materials fee.

 

Students will learn the basic drawing techniques. This class focuses on the fundamentals of composition, line quality, proportion, and value. They will learn the different materials used in drawing ranging from graphite pencils to charcoal, pastels, ink, erasers, as well as the various different types of paper qualities that are available. They will learn basic drawing elements starting with 2-dimensional design, to making images that interpret 3-dimensional space.  Lindsay holds a BFA from the University of Utah (2000) and has exhibited her work nationally.  View her work here.
