In the Field Photography: Working with Natural Light

Sunday, July 31

10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

With Rebekah Stevens

$100 + BYO digital camera (tripod optional).

In this workshop, learn how to use your camera to your best ability with instructor Rebekah Stevens as she takes you out in the field and teaches landscape photography techniques with an emphasis on natural light.  Most of the class will be spent outside in the field taking photos of the mountains and summer landscapes.  For the latter portion of each session, students will come back to the KAC to assess their photos and have open discussion about their experiences and challenges.  Class size is small, so all levels of experience are welcome as beginner, intermediate and advanced techniques will be taught! Students will also review photographs as a group and learn how to take better photographs whether you want to take landscapes or portraits. No cell phone cameras, please.
