Utah’s history as the ancient lake bed of Lake Bonneville has created deposits of beautiful earthenware clay. This class will use Utah’s local deep red to pale green earthenware clay to create art work. Class will use a choice of assignments in hand building or wheel throwing based on student preference to improve individual skills. We will also explore low fire and natural surfacing techniques to finish work. All skill levels are welcome from beginner to advanced.
