Handmade Clay Tree Ornaments

Materials included
Using air dry clay, students will learn how to create keepsake ornaments using slab, coil and pinching techniques. We will also have cookie cutter stamps to make holiday themed shapes! After students design and assemble their ornaments, they will paint them and add glitter. Students will be able to leave class with their air dry ornaments, however students will need to allow drying time for their ornaments at home before they decorate them and place them on the tree. Air dry clay will dry hard in 24 hours - just in time to hang on the tree!
