Handbuilding with Textured Clay Slabs
Saturday, June 3, 10, 24 and July 1 (No class June 17)

Go from slab to fab in this class! Come and build playful ceramic forms out of soft clay slabs. In this class the students will learn how to apply interesting textures to clay slabs that will then be cut and manipulated into various forms using templates. Techniques to accentuate the textured surface using underglazes will also be covered. No previous experience necessary. Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready for pick up 10-12 days after class has ended.
