The overlap of painting and drawing will be explored through the monotype, the painterly print.
A new technique will be introduced with each class to build skill and discover the endless possibilities for this oldest form of printmaking! The monotype has been the main focus for Linda Taynahza for many years. Her prints reflect the medium’s unique capacity for high color saturation. Recently she has returned to painting and loves the contrast of mediums. Her imagery has been influenced by her life in the mountains and the years she lived at Many Farms, Navajo Nation in Northern Arizona.
