This class will focus on developing a digital illustration skill set using a selection of software, especially Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Students will learn how to use a variety of tools to create illustrations and artwork with their own unique look and style. We’ll be diving into the fundamentals of these vital programs and build a foundation for advanced learning and experimentation. Students will need to be familiar with basic computer use, but no previous knowledge of the software will be necessary. Whenever a possible, students are encouraged to bring their own laptops to work in an environment most familiar to them.
