Clay Sugar Skull Sculptures

Saturday, October 29

10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

With Kristen McDermaid

$30 per child/adult pair. ($15 per extra student).

Materials included.

Get in the spirit of Dia de los Muertos and learn how to make traditional Mexican style sugar skulls out of clay with your family.  Kristen will show students examples of classic designs to help students carve and add painted detail to their clay mask sculptures.  Kids and adults alike will get creative in designing their sugar skull.  Bring your imagination, we’ll have the tools to help you create! Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready to pick up 10-12 days after the class session is finished.
