Express Yourself: Self Portraits in Clay for Kids

This clay class is a great opportunity to express yourself! Basic elements of clay sculpture will be taught through projects such as making self-portrait masks, and making a personal sculptures. First, students will make clay masks. Kristen will discuss facial proportions with the students to help them plan and design their self-portrait mask. Students will also make a personal sculpture, creating and combining symbols and objects that express their personality. We will glaze and fire all successful work.
