Clay Carving and Design

$160 (10% discount for members) + $24 clay and firing fee.
Think outside of the box and work alongside Maxx to learn about artistic clay forms and how to sculpt them! This class is for beginner to advanced pottery skill levels. Beginners will carve into greenware to make trivets and coasters. Wheel throwing options will also be available. More advanced students will learn double wall carving, as well as lobed and scalloped rim altering techniques. Learn how to integrate a variety of methods to make a truly unique and artistic piece of functional clay sculpture! Students will bisque fire and glaze successful pieces.
