Choose Your Own Medium: Pastel & Watercolor

$180 + $20 materials fee

These sessions will teach the basics of each medium. Intermediate students are welcome to participate as Jeanne will work at the individual pace of each student.   Jeanne will teach you how to use the correct tools and the correct methods to achieve an awesome painting.On the first day of class, please bring one piece of Masonite or a thick wood panel to tape down the paper.  Jeanne LaRae/Kimball Art Center will supply the pastels and the watercolor. This will allow you to explore these new mediums without a huge investment.  This is a class that will help you learn the skills to move forward into other drawing and painting classes with more confidence and abilities to paint either on your own or along with an instructor.  This class will be split into two sessions - 2 classes focusing on pastel, and 2 classes focusing on watercolor.  You are welcome to continue in one medium if you choose.
