In this class Emily will teach students how to use space on a canvas to create beautiful work using color and shape. Students will learn the value of working from imagery in order to create forms, even if working abstractly. This class will let students enjoy the process of painting without worrying about whether or not an object is recognizable. Using the elements and principles of art, students will create beautiful, interesting pieces.
