3D Felt Making *Exhibiting Artist Workshop*

Take a unique textile workshop with one of our exhibiting artists, Faith Hagenhofer! Hagenhofer lives in Tenino WA, where she raises sheep for their wool and wild-harvests many dye plants. Learn Faith’s process in this workshop, making felt, using one of the oldest textile processes. Even if you've never worked in felt before, you'll be able to construct a three-dimensional, hollow form from fibers you've manipulated into shape! The colors, the textures - the potential for surface embellishments are limitless. For 3D felt making we’re looking at solid and hollow forms, using a variety of methods for getting there. Make bowls, vessels, sculptures and more in this one day workshop! You will also be lead through her exhibit by the exhibiting artist herself!
